Calcaneal spur :
Calcaneal spur/heel spur occurs when a bony growth forms on the heel bone.
Causes: heel spurs occurs when calcium deposits build up on the underside of the heel bone, also caused by strain on foot muscles and ligaments, stretching of the plantar fascia.
Symptoms: intermittent or chronic pain while walking, jogging or running. If inflammation develops at the point of spur.
